These terms apply to your use of study4cert.com (“Study4Cert”, “we”, “us”) and to every purchase made on it. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What we offer

Study4Cert provides digital study material to help you prepare for IT and professional certification exams. Depending on the exam and the options you choose, this includes:

  • PDF study material with the exam’s practice questions and an explanation for each answer;
  • a web-based practice test that runs in your browser, with nothing to install. On some exams it is an optional add-on; on others it is included.

Each exam page lists what is included for that exam, such as the number of practice questions, and your cart shows exactly what you are buying before you pay. Free sample questions are shown on the exam page so you can judge the material before you buy.

2. Independent study material

Study4Cert is an independent provider of exam preparation material. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any certification vendor or exam provider. Our practice questions are written to help you study the topics in each exam’s published objectives; they are not official vendor material and do not replace the vendor’s own training, documentation or exam guide.

Certification names, exam names, exam codes and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify which exam our material helps you prepare for.

Passing a certification exam depends on your own preparation and knowledge. We do not promise any exam result or score.

3. Your account

  • You need an account to buy and to use your study material. Please give accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at support@study4cert.com if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Orders, prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in US dollars on the site and at checkout. Any taxes that apply are shown before you pay.
  • Your order is confirmed once payment is complete and you receive an order confirmation email.
  • Each exam can be bought once per order; you do not need more than one copy.
  • We may cancel an order and refund it in full if a price or product was shown in error, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
  • Payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card details.

5. Access to your material

  • Your study material is available as soon as your payment is complete, under My account > My exams. Material is opened and downloaded only from there; order emails do not contain links that open it.
  • Access lasts 3 months from the date of payment, unless the exam page or your order states a different period. After that the material can no longer be opened or downloaded from your account.
  • If the material for your exam is updated during your access period, the update is included at no extra cost.
  • The web-based practice test needs a modern web browser and an internet connection.

6. Your licence to use the material

When you buy, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the material for your own exam preparation during your access period. You may not:

  • share your account, or the material, with anyone else;
  • copy, publish, resell, rent or distribute the material, in whole or in part, in any form;
  • use the material to train others commercially or to build a competing product;
  • scrape, bulk-download or otherwise extract content from the site by automated means;
  • try to get around access limits, links or other security measures.

If we find a breach of this licence, we may suspend or close the account involved without refund.

7. Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, access other people’s accounts, upload harmful code, or send spam through our forms.

Certification vendors set their own rules for candidates. You are responsible for following the candidate agreement and exam policies of the vendor whose exam you take.

8. Content concerns

We respect the intellectual property of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe something on this site uses your work or rights without permission, email support@study4cert.com with:

  • your name and contact details;
  • a description of the work or right concerned;
  • the address (URL) of the page on our site;
  • a statement that the information you give is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.

We review every notice promptly and remove or correct material where appropriate.

9. Accuracy and errors

We work to keep our material accurate and aligned with each exam’s current objectives, but exams change and mistakes can happen. If you find an error in a question or an explanation, please tell us through the contact form so we can correct it for everyone.

10. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Limitation of liability

The site and the material are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as exam fees, lost time or lost opportunities, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add products or when the law changes. The version shown here, with its “last updated” date, applies to orders placed from that date. Material you have already bought stays available for its original access period.
